A Behind-the-Scenes Look at a Bridal Boudoir Photography Shoot

If you’ve ever wanted to get a behind-the-scenes look at a bridal boudoir photography shoot, then you’re in luck! I recently attended a Valentines Day bridal boudoir photography shoot at the Newburyport Studio in the Stateroom. Four models donned wedding dresses for the first half of the day and then changed into boudoir outfits for the second part of the shoot. This blog post will provide you with a glimpse into the exciting world of bridal boudoir photography.

Newburyport Studio: Stateroom

For Valentine’s Day, I had the privilege of attending a bridal boudoir shoot at the Newburyport Studio in the Stateroom. The Stateroom has unveiled its newest display, dubbed the Cocoon, comprised of more than 300 feet of draped fabrics, Moroccan lanterns, white floors and inviting cushions to give a homey atmosphere. It is the perfect backdrop for an intimate, lavish bridal or boudoir photo session.

The Shoot

The day started with the models in stunning bridal gowns from Bella Sera in Danvers, MA. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the Stateroom is the perfect setting for bridal portraits. The space has so many stunning spaces, giving a lot of variety in your final gallery.

The second section of the shoot focused on boudoir photography. What are boudoir photo shoots? Simply put, boudoir photography is a form of intimate portraiture that celebrates the beauty of the human form. These photos are often taken as a gift for a significant other, or simply to boost confidence and self-love.

The models today nailed their sessions. The resulting images were breathtaking, a perfect combination of elegance and grace.
