Ok but for real you guys aren’t even ready for how cute this styled elopement at Boston Public Garden is. 😍😍😍
As most of you probably know, winter is the slow season for wedding vendors. There aren’t a lot of weddings in the winter months. This can be a great time to rest, recharge and gear up for the upcoming wedding season. And in my case, get creative! I am super thankful that Maggie and Colin were down for this styled elopement shoot in Boston Public Garden!
We started the day off with skating, a hobby they both enjoy together. When we got to the Garden we weren’t the only ones who were skating. To one side of the bridge there were hockey players rushing around chasing pucks. We chose the opposite side because it was less crowded. As is common at the public garden, there was a busker playing music for money. At one point Maggie and Colin held each other close and began slow dancing. I observed from a distance and as the song finished a heard a passerby whisper, “Look! It’s their first dance!” Sadly I don’t remember the song that played, but it was still a sweet moment between them, regardless.
After they twirled and played on the ice, Maggie and Colin enjoyed a private little picnic. It was just hot water to make tea, but it helped warm them up. Maggie even used the steam from her cup to keep her hands warm!
From Maggie & Colin: “Tessa was truly amazing and helped us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! She gave us ideas of what to wear, things to try, and always reminded us to just have fun. Tessa also brought hot tea for us because we were shooting outside on a very cold day. I would highly recommend Tessa!”
