When Caela & Caleb started planning their Salem elopement, they had one big concern—finding a photographer who could truly capture their love story authentically. Since they weren’t inviting any guests, it was even more important that their photographer not only document the day beautifully but also resonate with them and their vision. They wanted photos that felt intimate, personal, simple, and classic—not stiff or staged. But they weren’t sure how to make that happen.

That’s where I came in. ✨

Finding their location

From helping them choose the perfect location to making the entire process seamless (and even stepping in as their officiant!), my goal was to create an experience where they felt comfortable, natural, and completely themselves in front of the camera. Their choice of the House of 7 Gables for their wedding was no coincidence—both Caela and Caleb share a deep love for history and literature, and there was no better place in Salem to celebrate their union.

Nestled in the heart of Salem, the House of 7 Gables provided the perfect historic and romantic setting for their intimate wedding. The stunning waterfront views and timeless architecture made for an unforgettable Salem wedding experience. Whether strolling through the lush gardens or exchanging vows with the rich literary history surrounding them, every moment felt like a page out of a novel.
