You guys aren’t even ready for this adorable Spring wedding in Gloucester!
Jess & Abby started their day getting their hair & makeup ready together at the Rockport Inn and Suites. They both knew they were going to be nervous and would want to hang out with each other as much as possible, so they opted to get ready together. A first look in their dresses was still really important to them, so when it came time to photograph the dresses, we made sure they couldn’t see them and kept them separate to change.
Their first look was filled with so much joy and smiles and twirls showing off their dresses to each other. Abby kept proclaiming “mine has pockets!” a wedding dress feature that is truly one to celebrate. After their first look at the hotel, we made our way to Stage Fort Park, for their private vows, family photos and finally their ceremony.
Following their ceremony, their rock climbing community all climbed on the nearest rock at the park to pose for a group picture. Both Jess and Abby climbed the rock in their heals, a feat that I was truly impressed by. Then we all made our way to Magnolia Library for their reception.
In addition to digital images that are included in every session, I also shoot film as an add on service to my clients. This wedding I shot part of the day on a roll of film that is experimental in nature and comes pre-fogged with light leaks. I love when my clients trust me enough to let me get creative with their images! The images with the red and funky colors are the film photos.
