Winter Wedding at Harrington Farm

Lindsey & Max, lovers of winter and Christmas, chose to have their wedding at Harrington Farm surrounded by their closest friends and family. With the place decked out in holiday decorations, it was the perfect winter wonderland for the couple to tie the knot.

From the couple:

“Max and I have been together for 9 years! In 2014, I had just transferred colleges, from Umass Dartmouth to Umass Boston, to commute from home. I was on Christmas break from school and at a party with my friends and Max and his brother were there. We didn’t talk at the party, but then I kept seeing him everywhere after that.

One time, Max came into my work for groceries and we connected from the party. We started conversations about music, because we have similar music taste. He stood there for over an hour talking to me while I was closing. After that he cam in a few more times, having similar conversations until we finally exchanged numbers. He asked if I wanted to hang out, but I didn’t think I wanted to be in a relationship at that time. We hung out at a friend’s house and were pretty much inseparable since. My family invited him to Christmas after hanging out for only a couple weeks.

Christmas Eve of 2021, Max proposed to me. I was duck sitting for my former neighbor in Natick before going to my family’s house for Christmas Eve. Max came with me to help out with the duck chores. I had muck boots on that were covered in duck poop, and I was all muddy (ducks are super messy and make a lot of mud because they love water). After the ducks, Max took a weird way home. He stopped at the place of our first kiss and proposed! I was absolutely shocked and ecstatic. We’ve been engaged for almost 2 years. This past October (2023), we bought our first house.
