Branchline Restaurant Wedding

Branchline was the perfect wedding venue for Caroline & Sam’s restaurant wedding early this September.

Engagement Story

Words directly from the couple: “Sam and I have been together for about 11 years now, we met through mutual friends that thought we would get along and be a “fun summer fling” for each other, and here we are 11 years later, about to get married. Since we met young, we’ve always taken things slowly and at our own pace.

We got engaged about two years ago in September of 2020 out in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts. It was our first vacation in a post-pandemic world and we were just looking for a secluded place outside of the city to relax. I had no idea the engagement was coming and was pretty shocked. It was really nice that it was just the two of us and since we were in the middle of nowhere, we had a solid hour or two with no cell reception where we could just enjoy being engaged just the two of us.”

Wedding Day Details

Their day started at separate hotels a block away in Arsenal Yards, Watertown. Caroline and her bridesmaids had their makeup done in the hotel conference room, where we had a quick first look with the bridesmaids before Caroline headed off in the wedding bus for her first look with Sam.

For their first look Caroline & Sam chose to read private vows to each other. After some bridal portraits, their entire wedding party met up with us for wedding party photos before we all piled back into the wedding bus to head to their restaurant venue, Branchline.

Their ceremony was outside in the courtyard. Afterwards they enjoyed their cocktail hour filled with the most delicious appetizers and hors d’oeuvres. Because we did the majority of their formal photos done before their ceremony, Caroline & Sam were able to enjoy their cocktail hour. This was something that was very important to them.

Afterward, the rest of the night was filled with amazing food, great conversation, amazing desserts and, of course, dancing.
